Have you heard of this exciting new project? Several fantastic independent craft breweries from across the North of England have all come together to create a brand new eight-can series of delicious beers that celebrate the North.
The breweries involved in this exciting project, titled ‘The Northern Powerhouse Brew Series’ are Buxton, Cloudwater, Black Lodge, Magic Rock, Northern Monk, Hawkshead, Thornbridge, Box Social, and the brewing took place at Wylam Brewery.
If you want to sample these eight unique beers though, you’ll have to be quick – they’re limited edition, and only 6,600 cases will be produced.
This project is part of the Great Exhibition of the North’s ‘Inspired by’ programme which celebrates art and culture, design, and innovation from across the north of England. Over the course of 80 days, in addition to this exciting new beer series, the Great Exhibition of the North will be home to amazing exhibits, inspired technology, vibrant street performance, cutting edge culture and magical experiences.
