General
Simpsons products are used in a wide variety of
ways. Their principal use is as one of the main
raw ingredients in making whisky and beer (lager,
stout and ale). They are also used for the
manufacture of malt vinegar, and as a first stage processed
product before being made in to malt extract,
or flaked cereals for breakfast foods or milled and
added to flour grists for the manufacture of
breads, biscuits and confectionery. (N.B. Simpsons do not,
however, have a malt extract plant themselves.)
