On the 1st May 2016 the 407th Riding of the Bounds will take place in Berwick-upon-Tweed and Simpsons Malt is proud to be showing support for this historic event in our town.
The annual event is a celebration of the traditional 15-mile ride to check the security of the boundaries of the town, with a cavalcade of horsemen rekindling 17th century tradition with modern pageantry.
The donation from Simpsons Malt will go towards riding lessons and horse hire for the three Berwick riders and it is hoped it will go a long way to help keep the event alive for generations to come.
The event is free to attend and starts at 9am on Sunday 1st May.
