We’re really pleased to be supporting the first ever Horncliffe Beer and Music Festival which will be taking place from the 13th-14th of July. We’re all about pairing quality beer with great music, and we love supporting our local community, so this really is a match made in heaven.
The festival will take place on the Horncliffe Village Green, in the Fishers Arms pub and the Memorial Hall, and has been put on for locals to enjoy over the weekend. If you’re attending, here’s what you can expect from this family-friendly event…
Live Music
Horncliffe Beer and Music Festival will be hosting some awesome live music acts across the two days, with guests including traditional performers like The Nick Allmark band and MLM, and solo performances from Donald Buick and Dave Denovan. Amjazz Experience will be on hand to bring a jazz vibe to some classic tunes. What a great way to kick back and relax over this chilled weekend!
Food
Make sure to get your hands on some quality beef burgers from RG Foreman & Son, with vegetarian and vegan burgers also on offer. James Ford & Son’s Norham bakery will be providing the rolls. Coffee will be served by Northern Edge Coffee, with tea, cakes and ice creams also available.
Local beers
Quality local beers and ales will be in abundance from Cheviot Brewery, First and Last Brewery, Cross Borders Brewing Company and Bear Claw.
Sustainability
The festival organisers are aiming to make the festival as environmentally friendly as possible – they’ve worked on keeping plastic to a minimum, so you can feel good knowing that you’re supporting sustainability too.
It’s going to be a great weekend! Our Vice Chairman Richard Simpson said: “We are excited to be getting behind the first Horncliffe Beer & Music Festival. It will be a great day out for local families and a chance to enjoy live music and the finest local food and beer.”
