As part of its continued support in the local community, Simpsons Malt has got behind Duns Primary School with a sponsorship to help get their theatre project off the ground.
Duns Primary School has been presented with a cheque for £500 to go towards covering costs for the school to put on a production of Annie. The money will be used for costumes, prop costs and the rights needed to purchase the scripts.
This project will allow pupils from P4 – P7 to participate in the production for free, ensuring that the activity is inclusive for all. This is the first time the school has embarked on such a project and is grateful for the donation.
