Simpsons Malt is pleased to confirm that a face-to-face public consultation event is scheduled to take place regarding the company’s plans to build a state-of-the-art maltings with malting barley storage facilities on land at Greens of Rothes.
The event will take place at the Grant Hall in Rothes on Thursday, September 16th from 2.30pm until 6.30pm.
It has always been Simpsons Malt’s intention to meet face-to-face with the local community and, with COVID-19 restrictions relaxed slightly, this event can now take place under current guidance.
Representatives from Simpsons Malt welcome the opportunity to speak to members of the local community in person, where they will provide information about the proposed development and be available to answer any questions.
Simpsons Malt Operations Director Steven Rowley said: “It’s one thing doing these things over the wire because of how the way the world has been, but face-to-face is the way we would rather do it.
“We welcome the opportunity to meet everybody and I would encourage folk to come along if they have any questions or concerns and we’ll be there to answer their queries.”
The face-to-face meeting follows a virtual consultation that took place on July 1st. Many questions were put forward to Simpsons Malt representatives during that session, the answers to which can be found HERE.
