Future prospects:

It is hoped that the apprentices will progress into roles within Engineering as they become available. The training will consist of a mix of working on site with our Maintenance Technicians and day release at college at various stages throughout the apprenticeship. The apprentices will be trained as multi-skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineers.

The Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (Level 3) standard will meet the professional standards of the Engineering Council for registration as Engineering Technician (Eng Tech) by an appropriate Professional Engineering Institution.

Dependent on employer requirements, progression onto higher level qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree) or a Higher/Degree Apprenticeship.
