Hours

7.30am-4.30pm, increasing to 7.00am-7.00pm with the potential to work weekends as required

Harvest Operations Driver:

To ensure timely co-ordination of deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are always adhered to, as well as assisting the wider team with general harvest operations.

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products.
  • Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries and mileage.
  • Carry out basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, lights) and report any issues promptly. 
  • Assist with general harvest tasks on site when required, including light labouring, tidying and supporting intake staff. 
  • Follow site safety rules and procedures at all times. 
  • Represent the organisation professionally when visiting farms and partner sites. 

Key requirements:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence. 
  • Forklift truck certificate of competence would be beneficial. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Strong communication skills and a polite, professional manner. 
  • Reliability and flexibility – harvest hours can be long and vary with weather. 
  • Previous agricultural or logistics experience is helpful but not essential.
