7.30am-4.30pm, increasing to 7.00am-7.00pm with the potential to work weekends as required
Harvest Operations Driver:
To ensure timely co-ordination of deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are always adhered to, as well as assisting the wider team with general harvest operations.
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries and mileage.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, lights) and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with general harvest tasks on site when required, including light labouring, tidying and supporting intake staff.
- Follow site safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Represent the organisation professionally when visiting farms and partner sites.
Key requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Forklift truck certificate of competence would be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a polite, professional manner.
- Reliability and flexibility – harvest hours can be long and vary with weather.
- Previous agricultural or logistics experience is helpful but not essential.
