Some post-SIBA BeerX thanks and congrats

With SIBA BeerX over for another year, we wanted to take the opportunity to say a few ‘thank yous’ and ‘congratulations’.

Firstly, a big thank you to SIBA for organising another excellent trade show. Against the backdrop of a tough trading climate, to have more than 3,700 brewing industry professionals in attendance across the two days – an increase on last year – is testament to the quality of the schedule put together.

We also wanted to thank everybody who took the opportunity to visit our stand. We had some really interesting and encouraging conversations and it was wonderful for Richard, Jamie, Martin, Jason and Eva to hear such positive feedback about our products – particularly regarding extract and efficiency – and customer service.

Word about us supplying Bloody Marys clearly spread quickly and we successfully ‘sold out’ of our 72 cans by mid-afternoon on Thursday. We plan on stocking up a little next year and it’s fun to know that it has become part of the BeerX routine for some of you!

By seeing so many of you, it also means that Jamie can put his feet up for a bit… (just kidding, this week he’s off to Ampersand Brew Co. for a collab brew day).

Next, we’d like to say a big congratulations to all the award winners across both nights at the SIBA Business Awards and the SIBA Indie Beer Awards, the UK’s biggest beer competition.

Five of the nine medalling beers in the Overall Champion Cask, Keg and Bottle/Can categories were from breweries we proudly supply both base and speciality malts to: TJ Morris Brewing Ltd, Elusive Brewing, Baker’s Dozen Brewing Co., Lakes Brew Co. and Neckstamper Brewing

We also had plenty of medal representation in the individual beer style category awards, so a big, big congratulations to all the medal winners and thank you for trusting us as one of your industry suppliers.

The next trade show we’re attending is the Craft Brewers Conference, which is taking place from April 20-22 in Philadelphia. We’ll be part of the RahrBSG village, so do let us know if you’re attending.

In the UK, we’ll next be exhibiting at the Brewers Congress, which is taking place from September 29-30 at Big Penny Social in London.
