Crystal T50™
Crystal T50 (Target 50 Lovibond) is a mid-range crystal malt with a super tight spec. The malt is designed to provide balanced caramel sweetness, light toffee notes, a rich golden-amber hue and was developed following a request from one of the world’s leading breweries.
It enhances body, mouthfeel and malt complexity, making it ideal for Bitters, Pale Ales and Amber Ales, where a touch of caramel depth is needed without overwhelming the beer.
Typically used at 5-15% in the grist, Crystal T50 provides a smooth caramel character with a clean finish, making it a go-to malt for brewers seeking balanced sweetness and malt complexity without excessive residual sugar.
