Golden Naked Oats®™
Golden Naked Oats is a unique, crystalised malt produced from a naked oat (no husk) that delivers silky mouthfeel, subtle nutty sweetness and delicious breakfast cereal flavours, with a deep golden-amber hue (12-24 °EBC).
Unlike our standard, husked Malted Oats, the crystalisation process develops deep caramelisation, making it an exceptional choice for Hazy IPAs, Stouts, Porters and malt-forward Ales, where it enhances body, head retention and smooth texture.
Its creaminess brings mouthfeel and balance to strong, hop forward beers and, although it is a similar colour to our CaraGlow and Caramalt products, Golden Naked Oats offers a more velvety texture with a softer, oat-driven sweetness.
Typically used at 5-15% in the grist, it adds depth, creaminess and a luscious malt complexity, making it an essential ingredient for brewers looking to create smooth, flavourful beers with an indulgent, silky finish.
