This month, we thought we’d warm you up with our Malted Rye, a malt that spices up beers, making it perfect for the Autumn months.
A big favourite amongst home and craft brewers, particularly in hoppy style and speciality beers, this malt is sure to spice up your life!
Taste & flavour
Malted rye adds big spicy rye notes to most beers. Its distinctive taste brings fullness of flavour to many beer styles, as well as depth and mouthfeel, it goes amazingly with Red Rye Crystal too!
Use it in hoppy beer styles, speciality beers and traditional rye beers. Its spice also complements citrusy beers.
It can be used up to 20%, or greater if you support filtration with rice husks.
