What to expect – Craft Beer Calling 2019

It’s back again! Wylam Brewery’s Craft Beer Calling in Newcastle is always a hit with the beer drinking and brewing community, and this year it’s set to be another awesome event.

The festival takes place between the 24th – 26th of October, with day and evening sessions scheduled throughout the three days.

There are only a handful of tickets left, so if you’re one of the lucky ones who have already secured your place at these amazing sessions, here’s what to expect…

 Live Music

The good folk at Wylam know how to keep their guests entertained. This year, they’ve promised some world class DJs, so you can sip as they spin.

Street Food Market

There’s a lot of beer to get through at Craft Beer Calling – so you’ll definitely want to hit the street food market during the session to grab some delicious grub.

Meet the Brewers

Your chance to meet some incredible brewers and learn all about them. You may even get to ask them some of your burning questions, like “What is your favourite Simpsons Malt malt?” (Check out David Kerr of Wylam’s answer here).

Incredible Beers

Over 60 breweries will be taking part in this year’s sessions, and a selection of over 300 cask and keg beers. That’s a lot of beer!

The line-up is looking pretty fantastic, with the likes of Burning Sky, The Kernel Brewery, Verdant, Cloudwater, Lervig, Northern Monk and The Five Points Brewing Company all attending, plus loads more!

We can’t wait! Keep an eye out on our social channels for updates!
