Colleagues recognised at 2024 Long Service Awards

As a fifth-generation, family business, Simpsons Malt Limited takes great pride in the fact that many colleagues choose to spend the majority of their careers with us, passing down their vast knowledge to the next generation.

Recently, the company celebrated colleagues who reached milestones in 2024 at the annual Long Service Awards Dinner at Marshall Meadows Manor House Hotel, where each colleague was presented with a certificate and gift by Chair Richard Simpson as a gesture of thanks for their many years of dedicated service.

This year’s Long Service colleagues were:

  • Diane Renner, Seed Grain Administrator – 40 years
  • Anne Sanderson, Payroll & HR Coordinator – 40 years
  • Mark Adam, HGV Class 1 Driver – 30 years
  • Mark Daynes, Maintenance Technician – 30 years
  • Tim McCreath, Managing Director – 30 years
  • Darren Cromarty, Haulage Production Manager – 30 years
  • Michelle Malcolm, Admin Assistant – 25 years
  • David Cairns, Agrochemical & Technical Director – 25 years
  • Brian Halls, HGV Class 1 Driver – 20 years
  • Duncan Myhill, Group Electrical & Automation Manager – 15 years
  • John Stephenson, HGV Class 1 Driver – 15 years
  • Mark Bolton, Gladsmuir Planning and Logistics Coordinator – 15 years
