The Simpsons Malt team is delighted to support Eyemouth’s Twilight 5k Walk, Jog, Run, which takes place on the 24th of August.
The event, organised by Active Communities Eyemouth (ACE), aims to encourage physical activity to promote health and wellbeing in the local community.
Simpsons Malt is pleased to sponsor this event as part of our ongoing commitment to local causes and initiatives. Simpsons Malt vice chairman Richard Simpson said: “We’re happy to get behind this fantastic community initiative which will take place in Eyemouth, just a short drive away from our maltings in Berwick-upon-Tweed.”
The event will be divided into two parts, with the walk portion taking place at 7pm and the jog and run portion taking place at 8pm. The route starts on the Promenade, behind The Tavern, before heading along the harbour and around the golf course road. Finishing back along the middle pier to the starting point.
An inclusive event, entry is open to anyone who wants to take on the challenge as a runner, jogger, walker or on a mobility scooter.
