Four months after returning from Antigua as World Record holders for rowing across the Atlantic Ocean is just 29 days, we toasted The Four Oarsman with a special afternoon event.
Peter Robinson, from Snipe House, near Alnwick, Northumberland, along with George Biggar, Stuart Watts and Dicky Taylor crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 29 days, 14 hours, 34 minutes, in what is described as the ‘world’s toughest row.’
The challenge totaled over 3,000 miles from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Nelson’s Dockyard English Harbour, at Antigua and Barbuda.
Our agricultural arm, McCreath, Simpson and Prentice (MSP) are proud to have sponsored The Four Oarsmen, helping them raise over £350,000 for both Mind and Spinal Research UK.
Congratulations, what an achievement!
