The 2019 Barcelona Beer Festival (BBF)is coming to La Farga de L’Hospitalet from the 15th– 17th March. The three-day festival is ideal for beer lovers looking to discover new brews, chat to fellow beer-fans and hear more about the latest developments in the industry.
Attracting around 33,000 visitors over the weekend, there is so much to see and do at the Barcelona Beer Festival. Let’s find out what this year’s event has in store…
Meet the Brewer
Each day at the Barcelona Beer Festival you’ll have the chance to meet and mingle with the brewers. The Meet the Brewer bar is a returning favourite of the European festival and allows visitors to try out beers from a variety of brewers from around the globe while also meeting the teams behind your favourite brews.
This year the line-up includes Wylie Brewery, Flying Dog and Bionoc.
Barcelona Beer Challenge
2019 will see the 4thedition of the Barcelona Beer Challenge take place at the BBF. In 2018 200 breweries from 20 countries around the world presented nearly 1,000 beers in the competition and this year is set to be no different. Prizes are awarded to quality beers and breweries in the following categories: best beer styles, best brewery and best new brewery. You can be there to witness the action and discover some award-winning beers.

BBF Pro
The BBF Pro area of the Barcelona Beer Festival is for the professionals! A great place to meet fellow brewers, buyers and suppliers. There will be an exhibition space, a chance to network at the BBF Pro Meet plus presentations and workshops on some great topics.
